OK well it's not a real hamster, it's one of those highly sought after 2009 Christmas toys the Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster. However, try telling our 3 poodles that it's not real! It's funny how the 3 month old puppy, Kona, was the one who showed No Fear when it came to "eating" the hamster! Enjoy the fun!

My mom's friend Gayle gave me one of the coveted "Zhu Zhu Hamsters" when I was visiting my family for Christmas. As expected, Aki (my shiba inu) treated it as if it were a real animal and instantly became obsessed with it. She has a great hunting instinct!
